Embraer (Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica) is a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer specializing in the production of light and mid-size business jets.

Following the Brazilian government's desire to develop the country's aeronautics industry, Embraer launched its first aircraft in 1969, a twin turboprop business jet with a capacity of 15 passengers.

The construction of this aircraft was an initial success for the company, which, since the early 1990s, has specialized in the construction of regional twin jets with its ERJ family of aircraft, specifically the ERJ 135 and 145.

A true commercial success, the production of the ERJ 145 and 135 has enabled Embraer to invest and specialize in the construction of private jets, including the famous Embraer Phenom 100, which is the opposite of the Cessna Citation Mustang.

Embraer is a Brazilian company with a remarkable track record that, in 2016, sold more than 200 aircraft, a record number.
