The Cessna story began in 1911 with the construction of a wooden monoplane by Clyde Vernon Cessna, an adventure that continues today.

A veritable empire, the American manufacturer Cessna has designed and produced numerous training aircraft, turboprops, and jets used around the world.

After its acquisition in 1985 by the General Dynamics group, Cessna specialized in the design of business jets with its Citation Hemisphere, Longitude, XLS, CJ, and Mustang lines, and sold its 2,000th aircraft in 2017.

Since 1992, Cessna has also been known as the Textron Aviation Group, a major player in business aviation.

All Cessna aircraft are accredited by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), an absolute guarantee of their safety, reliability, and reputation.
